Monday Net, August 18, 2025

Just in case you couldn’t make the net (what, you have other stuff going on that’s not amateur radio?), here’s a brief recap.

  • 20 total check-ins, 11 short time, 2 from EchoLink
  • Everyone sounded great – the repeater’s doing well
  • Everyone’s tired of the heat (don’t tell us about your 11% humidity, Paul!)
  • Martin (KA0MEK) could sure use some prayers. He’s had a bit of a rough time lately.
  • Paul went fishing for a stray kayak out in Colorado
  • Kip drank an inordinate amount of iced tea

The swap net brought some cool stuff from George, W2AGR. He’s got an Ameritron 811H, a Tail Twister TX2, and a rare Yaesu clock he wants to get rid of. Find him out on QRZ for contact info.

It was a good time for all. Come join us Mondays at 7pm US/Central on the Farmington repeater – 147.030, PL 100.0

We would also love if you came to a club meeting on the second Saturday of each month at 9am. We meet at the Bonne Terre Fire House, 2020 N. Allen St, Bonne Terre.
