September Meeting Recap!

We had a great September meeting, with 14 total present, consisting of 13 members (3 officers), and one visitor.

The meeting was displaced to one of the outdoor pavilions, since the firehouse training room appeared to be in use for firehouse training! It’s like they think they own the place! 🙂

Our Illustrious Secretary could not make the meeting so we had to make do with our previous secretary (myself, N9XRY).

Treasurer’s report was given, and we are in good shape there.

The EOARC repeater is doing fine.

The Ste. Gen repeater is down. Matthew Clubb is working with the SteGen club to get them back up.

We still need to schedule a VE Team meeting to get ready to administer tests via ExamTools.

Officer’s meeting to be scheduled to review/revise by-laws.

Brandon KF0HOG offering a Winlink class/workshop.

Some work still needs to be done on the firehouse antenna. George W2AGR has donated an antenna switch.

Arthur and Dave will be missing the October meeting.

The November meeting has been rescheduled for November 2nd, which is a Sunday, at 2pm – due to the Show-Me Rally event being scheduled on our normal meeting day in November. Several Club members including officers are volunteering at that event.

George, W2AGR has a long list of radio equipment for sale!

Ozark Trail 100 Event is scheduled for Oct 25th – see Brandon KF0HOG for volunteer details.

Halloween Hamfest in Kirkwood is also Oct 25th.

The Show-Me Rally is Nov 8th.

About US

The Eastern Ozarks Amateur Radio club has been operating since 1978, serving the amateur radio community in St. Francois, Washington, Madison, and other southeastern Missouri counties. The club repeater, at 147.030, PL 100, is active and hosts multiple nets throughout the week, and it open for ragchewing via RF or EchoLink, when not otherwise in use. We encourage you to call in and say “Hi!”

We would also love if you came to a club meeting on the second Saturday of each month at 9am. We meet at the Bonne Terre Fire House, 2020 N. Allen St, Bonne Terre.
