SILENT KEY – Lee Bischof AC0ZZ

SILENT KEY

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Lee Bischof, AC0ZZ. Lee was a longtime member, and beloved Chaplain, of the Eastern Ozarks Amateur Radio Club, and Net Control for the Tuesday night Bible net on the K0EOR repeater.

We have been informed that Lee went into the hospital last Wednesday, and passed away yesterday (Sunday) morning. Lee is survived by his wife, Mickey, and there will be a memorial service in the late summer or fall, we understand.

Our heartfelt condolences to all Lee’s family and friends – he will be sorely missed by all.

The Eastern Ozarks Amateur Radio club has been operating since 1978, serving the amateur radio community in St. Francois, Washington, Madison, and other southeastern Missouri counties. The club repeater, at 147.030, PL 100, is active and hosts multiple nets throughout the week, and it open for ragchewing via RF or EchoLink, when not otherwise in use. We encourage you to call in and say “Hi!”

We would also love if you came to a club meeting on the second Saturday of each month at 9am. We meet at the Bonne Terre Fire House, 2020 N. Allen St, Bonne Terre.
